Singapore ~ Old Supreme Court

In 1934, the colonial government acquired the site of Hotel de l’Europe that was forced to shut down in 1932. The hotel was demolished and the Supreme Court building was built on that site in 1939. The building was refurnished and opened in 2015 as The National Gallery Singapore which oversees the largest public collection of modern art in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
