Arja Dance is the oldest theatrical performance in Bali. The word "arja" is derived from the word "reja" means "beauty". The performance enjoyed it golden era in 1930s and was a great social event in the villages in Bali Indonesia. The show began at midnight and last until dawn, combining dance, music, singing and elaborate monolog.
